Business Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Business Data Analyst will provide data analysis and reporting solutions utilizing the Envita IS2 system, Azure Data Warehouse, and other systems as needed. Interactions and partnerships with the IT team will be needed to identify, develop, implement business solutions. Will collaborate to provide process improvements and standard operating documentation to operations/program and account administrative teams as needed. This role will be responsible for analysis, reporting and developing recommendations on data related to multiple, varied business metrics.

RESPONSIBLE FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and analyze business performance reports
• Partner with IT to perform data mining from Azure, IS2, and other applicable systems as necessary
• Develop queries/reports/dashboards from various systems in the Envita Power BI Application
• Support Power BI creation, updates, and opportunities for improvement
• Administer process to understand and write SQL
• Provide analytics so that operations teams can effectively leverage data information to achieve/exceed operational goals and customer expectations
• Prioritize focus on internal business information systems support that help drive annual performance goals
• Recommend and develop methods to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for customer contract and profit performance
• Support operations on IS2 customer dashboard rollouts (new and existing customers), changes, data validation and corrections
• Participate on implementation teams for new business as needed to provide guidance on best use of systems to manage requirements of new business and establish operating procedures
• Assist business managers with developing metrics to evaluate performance

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelors degree in related field beneficial

Experience

• Minimum two years of business related experience preferred
• Proven understanding of understanding data analytics

Knowledge and Abilities

• Strong analytical skills
• Strong process improvement skills
• Strong MS Office experience, must have hands-on Excel experience
• Strong knowledge of business processes and understanding of data analytics that support business decisions
• Knowledge and experience of Envita IS2 system beneficial
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross functional departments; operations, sales, accounting and IT
• Must be able to work effectively independently as well as with a team
• Must have effective communication skills and able to build trusted relationships across teams
• Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment and manage multiple tasks/responsibilities
• Strong time management and organizational skills
