Equipment Deployment Manager

Primary Purpose

The Equipment Deployment Manager will be first and foremost directly responsible for supporting the overall growth and compliance of deploying waste-handling equipment in our customer locations. Additionally, this role shall work closely with the management to execute on the strategy for growth opportunities within existing customer operations and external opportunities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Works in close coordination with Sr Strategic Manager of Innovation and HIS Leadership, to execute HIS equipment deployment strategy.
• Builds and maintains network of equipment manufacturers and distributors.
• Maintains and distributes yearly national OEM pricing to HIS leadership and Operations.
• Works directly with PM teams to identify and deploy waste/recycling equipment within customer accounts.
• Reviews and negotiates incoming equipment contracts and quotes from 3rd party partners.
• Develops and reviews customer-facing proposals alongside Program Management teams.
• Works with Finance Department to ensure responsible capital deployment and product offering.
• Collaborates with Legal Team to ensure proper proposal/contract language related to equipment deployment.
• Supports new business RFP responses specific to waste-handling equipment.
• Maintains CRM (Salesforce) tracking and reporting related to equipment sales opportunities.
• Monitors and reports on equipment supplier utilization to ensure proper distribution of opportunities amongst preferred providers.
• Works closely with accounting team to track, maintain, and manage all deployed assets owned by Heritage.
• Works directly with Business Integration, Operations, and Sales teams upon awarded contracts to support equipment deployment strategy.
• Works with Legal and Operations Teams for tracking of contract expiration dates and renewals.
• Ensures compliance with corporate SOP's and initiatives.
• Monitors adherence to equipment performance and growth projections.
• Overnight travel required – Up to 30%

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Four Year degree is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales/account management role with waste-handling equipment familiarity.

Knowledge and Abilities: Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Experience balancing and delivering on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. Must possess a strong attention to detail and superior time management skills. Excellent analytical, presentation and communication, and relationship building skills necessary Ability to write and review business proposals. Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Sound knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
