IT Data Analyst

Position Overview Envita Solutions, LLC is seeking to hire for the role of Data Analyst. In this role, the Data Analyst will be responsible for understanding numerous data sources that contribute to the productivity of our organization. Working under the direction of the Sr. Strategic Manager of Digital Transformation, the candidate will be responsible for doing the research and putting queries together to help us better understand different perspectives on the use of our data. In addition to providing insights, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development team writing queries as part of the agile production releases and researching results from existing queries to explain the data. Responsibilities Learn the business' data structure to be able to craft queries across numerous data sources Use our data effectively to provide insights for strategic business decisions Assist in data transformation for the next generation data and process automation Research business questions regarding existing queries and provide insights as to why data is or is not included in data sets Write queries for standard business requests as part of the development process Provide a sounding board for best practices or improvements for performance improvements with existing queries and stored procedures Education & Competencies Degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field Minimum 3-year experience query writing expertise using SQL; currently Oracle DB and future target Azure SQL Strong analytical skills to understand business requests and turn them into quantifiable query results and analysis Excellent project management skills Excellent written and verbal skills Proven ability to serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders Experience in Power BI, Alteryx, or Azure Data Factory a plus Envita believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success.
