Senior Program Manager, Resource Support

Primary Purpose

To support an Operations team engaged in identifying, implementing, and maintaining by-product management programs for multiple Envita Solutions customers focused in food/beverage industry. Act as a resource and lead to the Program Manager (PM) team to support enterprise and onsite responsibilities to provide coverage for operations and customers in organic waste.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Develop and support operations team servicing customer accounts in food/beverage industry
• Serve as primary point of contact and build trusted relationships for customer contacts under direction of Operations Manager
• Serve as a mentor and knowledge resource to team members
• Lead and support Program Manager Team in areas of day-to-day business
• Coach and mentor team members' performance and career development
• Analyze team for staffing needs based on customer and contract demands
• Partner with leadership on development and implementation of growth opportunities
• Collaborate with team members on new customer implementation process
• Prepare and present operational updates regularly
• Consult with clients and vendors to develop solutions to improve by-product management processes
• Partner with compliance team to ensure processes and procedures are followed in managing organic waste
• Develop partnerships with vendors to optimize service opportunities
• Preparation of annual budget for client's waste management activities
• Monitor adherences to budget and negotiate changes with clients when needed
• Manage implementation to improve waste management procedures
• Assist with escalated customer aging requests from Account Administrators
• Enter and maintain information within Salesforce for opportunity tracking
• Review cost and profit analysis prepared by Program Managers
• Review and advise on customer proposals
• Manage opportunities derived from customer or vendor relationships
• Travel approximately 20-60%, depending on account portfolio

Education:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required
• Bachelors degree in related field preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience providing consultative solutions to clients required
• Minimum 1 year experience supervising or supporting a team is beneficial
• Minimum 1 year experience managing organic waste for food/beverage manufacturing, or related business
• Proven experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline driven environment required

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must be capable of motivating and mentoring team members while balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
• Must possess strong attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
• Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners
• Must be comfortable building relationships in-person and remotely
• Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with hands-on experience with Excel
• Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations.
