Senior Strategic Manager of Digital Transformation
Primary Purpose
This position will be central to our organization's strategic direction, development and future growth. This role will be responsible for engaging operations and the leadership team on customer needs and company goals while pushing technology to the foreground as a solution and building a business case for modernization.
This role is responsible for recommending design and development activities related to technology solutions for the organization. Any needed systems integration and platform, application, or data solution upgrades will be implemented through the developer and technology team.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Partner with senior management to understand and deliver performance insights and key analytics solutions.
- Develop the tools needed to be the industry leader and allow operations to analyze data quickly and effectively.
- Implement technology roadmap with usability across organization in mind. Advocate for data-driven decisions, strong data governance, and other initiatives.
- Design develop and manage the Integrated Data Platform using Microsoft Azure Tools: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lakes, Power Bi, etc.
- Collaborate with HES to ensure technology solutions can be adapted to fit HES needs. Ensure all HES standards on security and functionality are met in any technology solution.
- Implement a structured DevOps approach to manage all digital work done for organization, including application and infrastructure shared services. This would include requirements gathering, prioritization, change advisory process, testing and deployment coordination.
- Lead, schedule, and troubleshoot technical implementations, from data definitions to models to end user reporting.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline is required. MBA or Masters in relevant discipline highly preferred.
Experience: 5+ years in data analysis, architecture, and strategy required. Strong background in system and database development and new technology adoption required.
Knowledge and Abilities: Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to influence and build trust, specifically as it relates to adopting new tools and methods. Confident presenting to business and technical executives, translating the details to bigger picture innovations for growth. Ability to inspire, lead, retain, and develop team while aligning resources for project completion. Sound understanding of Heritage Interactive business model, the waste management industry, business goals a plus. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
