Envita Solutions is the North American leader in providing comprehensive Total Waste Management (TWM) and sustainability services. This Strategic Manager is responsible for leading the collaboration between commercial sales, operations, and business integration teams to build trusted relationships and work together as a team to onboard new clients into the Envita portfolio. Delivering on the Envita sales strategy is to understand client needs and identify creative solutions for TWM services. The role will support the successful transition of supplier partnerships and introduction to a customer account management team in operations. This role will bring TWM expertise and business relationships combined with the ability to capture valuable insight through probing questions, demonstrated financial acumen, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Through intentional collaboration, this strategic manager will lead the successful transition of supporting onboarding customers through supplier integration and operational team introduction and hand-off. Additionally, will bring knowledge and expertise to uncover new opportunities and grow trusted relationships to deliver on Envitas's overall growth strategy.


How You'll make an Impact

  • Ensure health & safety is the number one priority by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Support Commercial and Supplier Partnerships to utilize regional/supplier knowledge to generate suppliers lists to included in bid and business process.
  • Collaborate with Commercial team on follow ups with potential customers based on learnings and engagement from customer site visits and review of bid documents.
  • Provide input and experience recommendations to the team on suggested bid pricing based on industry/regional knowledge
  • Continue to partner and engage with customers during integration process as a trusted "familiar" resource and act as subject matter expert of the customer experience in onboarding. `
  • Support the onboarding of the Integration Team with additional knowledge transfer and contract KPI's that are expected to ensure smooth transition process for the customer and operations team.
  • Participate in integration meetings with operations team as a voice to the contract progress and ensure customer satisfaction and smooth transitional hand-off to operations team.
  • Take lead on customer updates alongside Integration Team with customer meetings ongoing for a period of time to ensure customer experience is successful.
  • Combine understanding of TWM services with client and/or industry segment needs that differentiate Envita's solutions from alternative options, which will serve customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal functional leaders in areas of expertise to best deliver on creative solutions that differentiates from competitors.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of core supplier-partners with emphasis on the management of specific industry segments as needed.
  • Utilize TWM experience and customer expectations with business acumen to meet and exceed team goals that deliver on the overall growth strategy.
  • Represent Envita through alignment in company values and culture that operates through integrity, trust, and respect.
  • Prioritize collaboration of innovation, sustainability and delivering on our promises.
  • Attend trade shows and conventions while initiating involvement in professional associations
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings that could impact sales strategy.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma or its equivalent required. Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Minimum Seven (7) years of management experience in TWM, supplier partnerships, commercial and or operational functions
  • Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing space is beneficial.
  • Professional acumen at a corporate and/or onsite leadership level needed
  • Experience in one of the following categories preferred: Sustainability, Consultative Solutions, Environmental, or Customer Account Management.
  • Experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners.
  • Must be comfortable building relationships in-person and remotely.
  • Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction.
  • Ability to review and execute on proposals with strong business acumen.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with specific hands-on experience with Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations.
